I am Knut-Ove Messel and I have been collecting, selling and buying Picasso ceramics and graphichs since 1998. I have 6 years education from Oslo University from 1981-1986, studying philosophy, history and art history, with a bachelor in art history.

In 1998 I visited the Picasso Museeum in Paris and was drawn to his ceramic works, resulting in a keen interest in this part of Picassos production. Later this lead to visits to Vallauris and the Nice area. Since 1998 I have followed the auctions at Sothebys and Christies plus the main auction houses in Scandinavia like Bukowskis, Blomqvist and Bruun Rasmussen. Due to this I have good knowlegde of the market for ceramic works and also graphic works related to the ceramics
